Hall Manor Gets Ready for June: Community Chooses Murals!

Hi Sprocket Supporters!

Isn’t it hard to believe that it’s already May?! That means that NEXT MONTH at the end of June we will be busy painting murals in Hall Manor.

While we haven’t announced our selected artists just yet (soon!), they have been chosen! They’ve already been hard at work drafting concepts for this year’s mural sites.

In April, we printed out each artists’ top two concepts and presented them to Hall Manor community members, who made the final choice on what murals will be going up on their walls. Between going door to door and hosting a pizza party at the local Boys and Girls Club, we got 1,238 votes!

A heartfelt thank you to all of the community members who weighed in. Your excitement for the project was incredible to see. We’ve included a few shots from our vote days below.

We’re currently in the process of finalizing the selected mural concepts, ordering paint, and prepping and priming walls to make sure we’re all set for June.
